Your finances, finally making sense.
I'm Rebecca Tye, a Fractional Finance Director working with founders and business owners who are ready to stop going it alone on the finances.
THE PROBLEM: Most founders reach a point where the finances are technically getting done, but nobody's really watching them. The bookkeeper is bookkeeping. The accountant files the return. But nobody's sitting with you and saying: here's what this actually means for the decisions you're making right now. That's the conversation I show up for.
WHAT I DO: I come in for a few hours a month, really get to know your numbers WELL (your budget, your cash flow, your P&L) and help you use them effectively. I also work alongside your existing advisors (your accountant, your lawyer, your financial planner) to make sure everything is connected and solid.
Financial literacy is one of the most under leveraged tools a business owner has. I translate it for you so you walk away from every conversation understanding your business better than you did before.
I act as a resource for the bigger financial questions that tend to sit on the back burner; the decisions that feel complex, time-sensitive, or just outside your wheelhouse. Whether it's evaluating a commercial space, working through a one-off financial challenge, or simply thinking something through with someone who already knows your numbers, that's part of what I'm here for.
WHY ME: My path here wasn't a straight line and I think that's exactly why I'm good at this. I've led teams, navigated complexity, and sat on the other side of hard business decisions. That experience gives me a holistic perspective on what running a business actually feels like.
Beyond the technical work, I bring something that's harder to find: the ability to slow down, sit with you, care for you and make the financial picture genuinely clear. I want you to walk away from our conversations understanding your business better than you did before.
